Many reviews mention that you can’t turn off the light or customize it, but actually, you can. You just need to download the driver named ‘Amazon Basics ABIM10.’ After installing the software, you can customize every button and change the DPI to turn off the RGB light! The mouse is great for this price range, and the quality of the USB cable is also good. Definitely worth going for!

Struggled to get the bluetooth mode working as the manual doesn’t mention you have to press and hold left+middle+right buttons for 3 seconds to get into discovery mode. The blue light starts blinking during discovery mode. Good mouse otherwise.

Connecting this mouse is TRICKY. Read this to properly connec your mouse to devices (even macbook)
Look at the color of the lights when you turn it on.
1) Wired – Self explanatory. Just connect the wire.
2) 2.4Ghz Connection – If the color is BLUE when you turn on the mouse, its on BT mode. Even if you put the 2.4ghz adaptor, it wont work.
Press and hold the DPI button under the mouse next to the sensor to change it. If you see a GREEN color for the RGB light after this or when turning ON. This means mouse is now in 2.4ghz mode.
3) BT mode – If the color is RGB or GREEN, its in 2.4ghz mode or no mode. You wont be able to find it in bluetooth list.
If the color of the RGB bar was GREEN when you turned the mouse on, then press and hold DPI button under the mouse until the RGB bar turns BLUE. [If it was already blue, skip this step].
Now press and hold LEFT + MIDDLE + RIGHT button all together for 5 seconds and you will see the rgb bar flashing BLUE. This means its in pairing mode, now you can pair it with your device.
This is tricky and the manuals say nothing about this ! [Image 1 – green = 2.4ghz. Image 2 – blue = BT. Video 1 – blue blinking = pairing mode for BT]
